The Tiger's Modern This Time...

GM Tiger Hillarp-Persson
I have already published on this blog several games of our colleague Claudio Mangione and you can see that when he plays with Black pieces he employs different lines of the Modern Defence. Several times in the past he played Gurgenidze defence. However, in our last match against West Bridgford he played a line known as the Tiger's Modern. The reason for this name is the book which was published by Swedish grandmaster Tiger Hillarp-Persson who has been a keen pioneer of this line and very successful one.
Despite that Claudio did not win the game, it is an interesting example of a fight which is going on in the Modern Defence. Annotations to the game were provided by Claudio himself. Do enjoy the game.
